WARM LINE
2pm - 6pm  weekdays                                  817-546-7826
Call the Warm Line if you need support and human contact, but don't need a crisis line or hotline. Timely help by people who understand can prevent crises.

You can call 817-546-7826 between 2 pm and 6 pm Monday through Friday. A volunteer mentor will talk with you. The mentors provide a listening ear and supportive dialogue, and can route you to a crisis line if needed.

“The Warm Line meets a real need. It’s a proactive service for a reactive world,” says Lena Phillips, Peer Support Coordinator for MHATC.

The Warm Line helps people with non-critical situations to avoid calling hotlines or crises lines. This frees up resources for critical needs.

Volunteers also make outreach calls for follow-up and to reach individuals in need of support.
