Warrior Support

Military Veterans
First Responders
The Mental Health Association of Tarrant County is proud to announce the expansion of our Warrior Support program to include First Responders.

Our police, fire and emergency professionals experience unique stressors that place them at risk for a variety of mental health issues. Our local heroes run towards danger when others run away. They risk their lives and safety to ensure that we are safe. MHATC is honored to offer support to these community warriors.

It is the mission of our Warrior Care Program to provide quality services at little or no cost.

We address:

· Stress
· Anger
· Sleep problems
· Depression
· Alcohol/Substance Abuse
· Post Traumatic Stress
· Marital problems
· Child and family needs
· Other behavioral and emotional concerns

Services Include:
> Confidential evaluation by a licensed clinician
> Needs assessment and care plan development
> Coordination of counseling and other therapeutic interventions
> Peer-to-peer support groups
> WRAP (Wellness and Recovery Action Plan) symptom recognition and management class

Our Service Area:
